SUMMER IS HERE! The weather has heated up, frosé is back, North Avenue Beach is swarming with beach goers, and our social calendars are starting to fill up. Taste of Chicago is one of the city’s best events to really get a feel for the local cuisine! Featuring over 80 restaurants, including favorites like The Original Rainbow Cone and Giordano’s, this free walk-up event is sure to satisfy. Make sure to come with a big appetite and download the app for easy vendor tracking!
Windy City Smokeout
July 12 – 14, 2019
Windy City Smokeout is one of my favorite events of the year! Read my review of my time at it HERE. This year the event is better than ever and at a new city location. Attendees will enjoy the best in country music, food, and drink. Tickets are sure to sell out fast!
Outside Experience
July 13-14, 2019
Hands on experiences await at the McCormick Place with Outside Experience! Join me (get $5 off with code ALYSSA) for live music and interactions at different ‘zones’. There’s a Run Zone, Water Zone, Climbing Zone, Winter Zone, Biking Zone, and more. However, I’m most excited for the Live Well Zone for yoga sessions and brands!
Chicago Irish Fest

It’s the luck of the Irish! Celebrate your Irish heritage, or just come for a good time, at Chicago’s Irish Fest. This festival will have Irish and American food and drink, live music, dancing, and vendors for shopping. Tickets are only $10 if you purchase in advance!
Barrio Arts Fest
July 13 – 14, 2019
I’m excited to announce that the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture is hosting their 19th Barrio Arts Fest this July. Attendees can expect to enjoy local artists, food vendors, dancers, and musicians. The event is free, however you can choose to donate towards the NWPRAC here.
Margeaux Brasserie’s 2nd Annual Bastille Day

Celebrate Bastille Day with Margeaux Brasserie’s 2nd Annual Bastille Day courtyard festivities!
