Combating Chicago Winds with Elnett Hairspray

Let me start off by saying that winter in Chicago is rough. The temperatures are below zero, the wind is ruthless, and having long hair stay smooth is a constant battle. Luckily, Influenster (the best product testing company around) offered a complimentary try of L’Oréal Hair’s Elnett Precious Oil Satin Hairspray just in time for this year’s #Chiberia takeover.

L’Oréal Hair offers six different variations of Elnett Hairspray. I received the Elnett Precious Oil Satin Hairspray, which is infused with Argan Oil to turn dry, damaged hair silky smooth. Compared to other hairsprays, this product did not leave a sticky residue on my fingertips, yet kept the hold just the same. The scent was pleasant and I liked the gold packaging, which followed hand-in-hand with the brand’s red-carpet-ready ‘gold standard’ theme.

I decided to try out a glam look for myself to see if the product truly passed the ‘gold standard’ test. The results? A lightweight hold with a smooth, shiny finish. Sounds like luxury to me.

Feeling Galactic with GLAMGLOW’s Limited Edition Glittermask

If you fantasize about the stars above, or just like glitter, you’ll love GLAMGLOW’s limited edition #GLITTERMASK GRAVITYMUD Firming Treatment! Applying the mud tightening mask with the included brush gave me major Last-Jedi, galactic vibes.

The best part of this mask is that it came with a brush to easily apply thick, even layers on your face. This gave a more luxurious experience when using the mask compared to others that you would usually apply with your mere finger. The firming mask took about 25 to harden, followed by an easy pull-off. No harm came from the glitter stars within the mixture and the end results were a firmer, toner surface. The most surprising thing about the product was that it had a tropical scent – I felt like I should have a Pina Colada in my hand!

The hype was well worth the wait. I can’t wait to make this #Glittermask part of my monthly beauty routine for improving elasticity and try other GLAMGLOW products in the future!
