Blue Violet, found on the second floor of Hubbard Inn on Hubbard St., recently went through a magical re-brand into a sexy, upscale Wonderland. I’m talking floral ceilings, floral walls with twinkle lights, and floral cocktails to share. It’s so cute and right up my aesthetic alley. I was very excited to be invited to come in and try their new cocktail menu. Read about my experience below!
Blue Violet’s New Cocktail Menu
Blue Violet’s design face lift came with a new cocktail menu for guests to enjoy. I was really excited to try one of their shared cocktails. The floral features added to them were chic, sparkly, and perfect for a unique nighttime drink! They did not disappoint in person, either. You can find Blue Violet’s full cocktail menu here. I recommend the Garden of Eden, Blue Violet, Inferno, or The Forbidden Fruit! Perfect for sharing.
Cocktail of the Night: Garden of Eden
We were given the Garden of Eden to try. It consisted of vodka, ginger-matcha syrup, cucumber, bitters, and ginger beer. I usually don’t like tasting the alcohol in my drink, so I liked this cocktail a lot because it was very subtle and tasted mostly like the cucumbers! Very light and refreshing. I had to be careful not to drink it too fast, it was that good. The presentation was also very cute including real flowers and glitter ice cubes within the cocktail. It went perfectly with the dreamy garden vibe featured across the floor! The cocktail was listed under the share between 4-6 people section, however this was perfect for just two.
