Everything You Need to Know About Dining at Disney Parks

March 28, 2023

Dining at Disney Parks

One of the best things about Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney’s California Adventure Park is that they offer a variety of dining options during your hotel stay and at the theme parks. Some are quick service while others are sit-down and require a reservation. Below you will find information on how to make a Disney dining reservation! View my favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World in this blog post.

How to Make a Disney Dining Reservation

Reservations for Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Springs, Downtown Disney, and Disney’s California Adventure Park can be made up to 60 days in advance of your reserved park day, and are sure to book up right away. Especially the ones that include character dining. The best thing for you to do is set your alarm and log on to book the moment that 60-day mark hits. After testing it multiple times myself, Disney dining reservations go live at 8am CST. This includes both the app and desktop system. Here’s what to do:

1. Log in to your My Disney Experience account

2. Search dining availability

On the app, click the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and select ‘Check Dining Availability’. Choose the number of guests, day, and time of day. Browse through available options. On desktop, go to Things to Do in the site’s main navigation and select ‘Make Reservations’ under Dining. Choose your date, time of day, and number of guests. Browse through available options.

3. Secure your reservation

Reserved dining reservations require credit card information on file to avoid last minute cancellations and no shows. You will not be charged at the time of booking your dining reservation.

4. Check your reservation confirmation

Make sure you receive a confirmation email and that you can see your reservation under ‘My Plans’ in your My Disney Experience account.
