Coach has been one of my favorite designer brands since I can remember. From owning my first signature bag to seeing the collections evolve each year, the brand has always kept my interest. This past week I attended the Michigan Avenue Coach Spring 2019 Collection Trunk Show to view their newer pieces in the Coach Spring 2019 Collection. The event featured a live DJ, champagne, appetizers, a customization station, and Garrett Popcorn goodie bags.
Items from the Coach Spring 2019 Collection were on display throughout the Michigan Avenue store, including handbags and clothing, among previously released merchandise. My go-to Spring/Summer handbag (from a different retailer) had perished last year from years of loved overuse, so I was in need of a new addition. A sales associate lead me through the Spring picks, all at 30% off in celebration of the event – the beauty of attending a trunk show for a collection – focusing more on finding my desired handbag. I viewed the Dreamer and Charlie designs, however the Rouge stole my heart.
Coach Handbags: Rouge
I loved the Rouge handbag the most out of the handbags I viewed because of it’s strap versatility. My previous Spring/Summer handbag favorite was a shoulder bag, a style that I usually do not carry due to having a harder time finding one that I like. I was hoping, with attending the Coach Spring 2019 Collection Trunk Show, that I would find another shoulder bag of this style. The Rouge handbag is not only a handle style, but can also convert into shoulder and crossbody. The medium sized Rouge came in Chalk/Brass (a white-ish color), which I loved for the upcoming warmer weather. It was perfect!
I was also introduced to the Dreamer and Charlie handbag. While I loved the Rouge the most, these handbags still came in really cute colors and styles. Coach describes the Charlie as lightweight & effortlessly cool and the Dreamer as the bag that has it all for the girl who does it all. I have linked some of my favorites below from these lines!

My favorite thing from Coach are the handbags, however their Spring 2019 Collection ready-to-wear clothing and shoes also caught my eye. Had me seriously considering buying! The clothing consisted mainly of a prairie, peasant style and a peach palm tree print. I loved the delicate details of the prairie pieces and the fun, feminine look of the palm tree print. Since every outfit needs a chic pair of shoes, I have also rounded up my favorites from the Coach Spring Shoe Edit below. They include the Kit Wedge Espadrille, Via Demi Wedge Sandal, Nessa Clog Sandal, Bella Heel, and Melody Bootie.

Last, but certainly not least, Coach x Disney was part of the Coach Spring 2019 Collection roundup. I loved how these items played ode to Disney classics while making it look playful and chic. My favorites featured Bambi, Dumbo, and the 101 Dalmatians. The Bambi pieces complimented the new prairie ready-to-wear clothing beautifully, while the Dumbo and 101 Dalmatians brought an edgier, fun vibe. Side note: who else is excited to see Dumbo in theaters at the end of this month?? Maybe you can wear one of the Coach x Disney Dumbo items to it! Coach x Disney roundups below 🙂
