I’ll take my brunch with a side of Louis Vuitton, please. Chicago’s latest pop-up, and the most chic of them all, involved Louis Vuitton, a lot of orange, and Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh’s collaboration featured its’ Men’s FW19 (Fall-Winter 2019) in this fun, bold manner. This pop-up is free to attend and available only until July 7, 2019. What the Pop-Up is All About
This pop-up is all about Virgil Abloh’s second men’s collection with Louis Vuitton. Draped with a bright orange hue, the collection brings urban and street to a usually monochromic line. The figures within the pop up represent movement that inspired the line. Attendees can shop the collection on the second floor, available exclusively for sale. I personally LOVED this orange trunk bag from the collection. It even went perfectly with my nail polish! Not planned.
How to Get Tickets
The Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh pop-up welcomes walk ins, however if you want to make sure you skip the line and get in, I recommend reserving a free priority pass. These can be reserved HERE. The day we attended was rainy, so luckily we were able to walk right in without having to show our reserved priority passes, but it’s good to have them just in case! You can only reserve one ticket per reservation.
The Photo Ops
What would a pop-up be without some photo ops, am I right? While there are a few places to take a picture inside the small pop-up, such as the Louis Vuitton painted brick wall, the real money maker is the side wall outside (first and last image of this post). You can’t miss it. It’s bright orange and has Louis Vuitton symbols covering it.
